Hey guys, I just built a new system to replace my slowing dieing PC. I'm on a budget, and decided to reuse an existing case. Everything fit fine, case looks nice. Only problem I'm worried about it heat. Its got vents on the side, but only one fan for the entire case.

Just curious what temps are considered safe for my CPU, case, and GPU? I've done some google searching and found a lot of conflicting info. I'm not doing any overclocking but will be playing games.

CPU is a E7300 Core 2 Duo and the GPU is a ATI 4850 Sapphire card.

So when I do realtemp to check the status of everything, what sort of temps are considered "safe"? Idle and at load?

30-40 idle
40-55 under full load i'd say?

might want to consider picking up another fan if you can. Its really important to have good airflow in a case.
