Hello,
Im thinking of upgrading my drive and i have come across two drive of equal size but really different cache sizes
Western Digital WD5000BUDT AV-25 with 32mb of cache (and advanced formatting)
and the Western Digital WD5000BEVT with 8mb
both are 500GB
Is it worth spending the extra £10 on the bigger cache (it appears to be a newer drive too)

Yeah that was my initial reaction. Also there seems to be an agreement in some of the articles that newer versions of the dive tend to be slightly quicker. the AV-25 with its bigger cache and advanced formatting might be a better choice then.
