Hello Toms Hardware Forums

In the near future I am going to buy a new PC with a HAF 922 case and Zalman CNPS 10x Extreme, and this is what im wondering: Will it fit ?
The case is 253mm wide and the cooler is is 165mm tall. it should be enough room, but its just that I dont know how much room will be left after the motherboard has been installed. How much room does that take ?
in case you need to know the mobo will be an Asus Crosshair IV Formula with a phenom II X4 CPU.
and as a sidenote, is the cooler gonna block any memory slots or PCI slots ? says it needs 70mm to each side from the middle of the CPU.

thank you in advance

Watch out with the CNPS10X Extreme, i have one on the Crosshairs IV, it blocks first red and half of first black memory slots, OK if you use Ram with small Spreaders on them like Corsair XMS3, but not those like Dominators or ripjaws as they will foul on cooler!

Other than that it should all fit sweet..

ps I chose XMS3 7.8.7.20 1600MHZ over costlier Dominators 1600Mhz 9.9.9.24 with their fancy heatsinks and boy am i glad I did.

my 7.8.7.20 will clock 1900+ with 9.9.9.24 and have not pushed them to limit yet!

i just bought a CNPS10X Extreme. It says ram higher that 36mm may interfere. Luckily I also bought Kingston HyperX 2x2gb Model Number KHX1600C8D3K2/4GX, which measures about 32mm. Unfortunately i havnt got most of the system parts so i cant say for sure. Hope that helps though
