Cpu fan for gigabyte p55 ud3?

I wanted to get a cpu fan that i dont have to take the motherboard out to install anyone have any good ideas? price range anywhere belwo $50 would be fine.

Are you talking about the heatsink/fan combo... or just replacing the fan??

I assume you're referring to the heatsink(which normally has a fan attached to it)... if you aren't doing any overclocking your stock cooling unit will be fine.

If you're hellbent on getting a cooler... Hyper 212+ are the best bang for buck at around $40 (sometimes on sale as low as $20)

the hyper 212 do you have to take off the motherboard to install?

Yes, unless your case has a cutout behind the CPU socket on the motherboard tray. It has a backing plate.
