can i ask what can i do this is my mother board MS 7043 its not accepting any hardisk if i inserted one it doesnt read. Barracuda 7200.7 seagate is the only thing that reads but my hard disk is already destroy i try to put Barracuda 7200.9 seagate but its not reading it . how can i config my motherboard to accept Barracuda 7200.9 seagate is there a way??

Is this the board you're using; http://www.msicomputer.com/product [...] =px8_neo-v ?
If so then I'm assuming all your Barracuda drives are PATA then.

Have you set the Master/Slave jumper correct on the 7200.9? Best not to use 'cable select' if not attaching two drives onto one cable.

It may sound stupid, but can you confirm the molex(power) plug is plugged in securely and you can hear/feel 7200.9 spin up when powered on?
