I've install WIN7 prof. 32-bit and any CD-R (even original one) is shown as empty. DVD-R,DVD+R works properly.
Under old Vista Home Premium CD-R worked fine on this Notebook ASUS F3F. No original drivers were instaled, since asus have no support for WIN7. WIN7 recognized my DVD-RAM as matshita dvd-ram uj-850S ata device, drivers up-to-date.
More aboutfull shown empty win7
can you access the information on the disc?
No, every CD-R is shown as empty. The only option is to burn something on it. So I can see there is a CD in the mechanic but I can not acces data on it.
