Get the Intel Core 2 Duo! That E6750 is very fast compared to that slow E5200.

When choosing CPUs I like to see overclocking potential, and both of those will get to around the same 3.8ghz or so on air. Since you aren't OCing, then look at other differences.

Here is the major differences:

E6750 - 65nm process, tends to run a bit hotter, has 4mb of cache, uses 333mhz bus speed.
E5200 - 45nm process, will run a bit cooler, only has 2mb of cache, uses 200mhz bus speed.

Cache difference will be negligible in everyday computing needs. But the higher clock of the E6750 and increase cache will tip it in it's favor.

What do I recommend? You starting a new thread, instead of hijacking an existing one!!
PS. I would choose the E7650. Man, you have one generous friend!! :)  Ask if he'll give me the one left over :D  Although he's a little stupid if he's gonna let you take the better one. Have fun!
