Not detecting Ethernet Cable

Working on a clients computer here, and the ethernet cable is not being detected. All Drivers are installed, i've tried multiple ethernet cables...


Customer brought computer in because of a virus issue. Ever since we've done the clean up the computer works great but we can't get his computer online...

When the cable is plugged in the Green and Orange\Yellow LED are both solid. No flickering or flashing.



Issue needs to be resolved immediately.

Does it always display that a cable is not connected? If not, is the port configured for Auto or a specific speed/duplex mode?

Is the IP address hard set or DHCP?
