I was hoping someone might be able to help me out.

I just ordered an EVGA GTX 260 and it should be here in a couple days. The problem is I'm not sure if my PSU can handle it.

PSU: PC Power and Cooling Turbo-Cool 510W SLI. (+12V @ 34/38A)

The EVGA website says the card needs at a minimum a 500W PSU with a 12V @ 36A. I do not not over clock and I've listed my system specs below.

Is there anyone else that might be running a similar set up? Should I upgrade my PSU?

Thanks in advance!

System Specs:

CPU: E8400 @ 3Ghz
RAM: 8GB (4x2) DDR2 800Mhz
MOBO: ASUS P5Q-Pro
HDDs: 1x WD 74GB Raptor, 1x WD Caviar 640GB
Other: 1 optical drive, 2x 120mm fan with LED, 1x 120mm no LED, 1x 80mm no LED.

Splendid
The PC P&C 510wt should handle what you have, though I think its a bit marginal. Personally, I'd look for a PSU closer to 650wt so you would have enough power for more hardware or overclocking in the future. Then again, as long as you keep to your present setup, your present 510wt should do.

That's what I've been reading. First thing I'm going to do is crank it up on Crysis. I almost cried when that game first came out and I could barely play it with my 7800GTX.

It's sort of amazing to me how far technology has come in just a few years. I purchased the 7800GTX back in Jan of 2005 for $499 and I just picked up the GTX 260 for $220. Just amazing :p
