I download various radio shows from the net and transfer them to my PocketPC for mobile listening. Many of them are approximately 1 hour in length. If I pause playback then resume when less than approximately 12 minutes into the program, it will resume fine. If I pause, let's say, 25 minutes into the show, it will not resume. It just sits there motionless.
Similarly, if I come back to a show later in the day and wish to scroll it to a point where I left off, it does the same thing if it's past the 12 minute mark.
Note: Even when the problem occurs, if I then scroll somewhere prior to 12 minutes, it will resume playing at that point.
Note: Location of file irrelevent (onboard vs. CF card vs. SD card)
Note: File type irrelevent (mp3 or wav)
Config: Dell Axim PXA250, PocketPC v3.0.11171, Media Player 8.5 for PocketPC build 12177.
