F8 Options start up the Advanced Recovery Menu and give you many options to troubleshoot the OS and Some Quick Fixes if you have problems. Safe Mode for Driver Issues or Last good known configuration for registry errors, or for Hard Drive Corruption or Viruses that might require an Clean Install you can use system restore which goes back some time to wheny our configuration and rig were working 100%
