I'm getting the ASUS M4A79T Deluxe UPS'd tomorrow and need to know how to check the version. I'm having a friend who is going to help me build it and I'd hate to drive and hour and have it not post with the AMD Phenom II X4 955.

It will support the Phenom IIX4.

And even if it didn't it is new enough and good enough that you could just get the drivers/bios updates, online at ASUS's website.
