Upgrading PC

Could someone please look at the following and tell me if i am doing a good decision?

My current setup is:

Asus Crosshair Motherboard
BFG 8800 GT OC2
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 DHX PC2-6400C4DHX TwinX
Corsair 1GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX
(A total of 3g ram)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5200 2.70GHz (Overclocked to 2.86)
Seasonic S12 600W Silent ATX2.0 Power Supply

Now i was thinking about getting a GTX 260 from BFG (This one https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-079-BG ), and possibly a new case (because the one i have is hanging on tape). That is, unless i dont need to upgrade any of the other components (as to not have a bottleneck), i was thinking the cpu maybe?

What is it you are trying to accomplish?

Are you not satisfied with performance in games?

What resolution is your monitor?

No, not really satisfied with the games iv been playing recently (gta 4 etc). My monitor is 1280 x 1024, but i might get another monitor aswell.

At your current resolution, you would most benefit from a processor upgrade.

I wont upgrade now in your place, but if you really want to
First upgrade your CPU, don't go 4 less than Phenom II, no point. Then the Ram and then the VGA card. If you want grate cheap case get the RC-690.
