We got new pcs at work finally Pci e enters our office. We're used to use our old pcs for lan when we're on duty over weekends so our 6600gt 6200 ect served our AGP mobos well. Now we got ultra lame via mobos with crap 300w psu's and a E2180 dual cores. My question is this will a popular 4670 work in that set ups or do I have to go search 4 8400gs that struggles to beat a 7300gt

4670 needs like 60 watts, so if that psu has like 200W on the 12V line you'll be fine, even 150W could just work if you dont have too much extra stuff in it

The 4670 will work fine, assuming you don't have the crappiest power supply known to man.

The psu has an amazing :-( 14amps on the 12v rail doubt that matters coz the 4670 doesn't need external power but luckily the psu dont even have 6pin nor 8pin power cables.

The HD 4670 uses 47w at stock speed.

The 9600GT requires 60w at stock speed.

Sounds like you have Dells.
The 4670 will run fine on 14A and it`s quite a common upgrade for Dell owners with the 4650 being used on the 250W PSUs`.
