Hello everyone, Im new here. OK heres my problem:
I just bought a Club 3D 8800 GT 512 MB GDDR3, Plugged it in, Installed the LASTEST drivers from Nvidia website.
I already had Far Cry 2, But when I was running it Average FPS was like 9
I figured out it was my CPU overheating, I brought a new fan and installed it, now It runs at like 21 FPS average.
But when I play for like 20 minutes, My PC reboots
I have a P4 Dual Core 3.2 Ghz, and 1.5 DDR2 RAM, Already tested those they work perfectly.
The strange thing is when my pc was rebooting, it smelled like burning plastic in the PSU (Power Supply)
Please consider that I already updated my drivers, checked my CPU and RAM (well for CPU idk but it heats up to 57 C° on load)
So my question is, Could it be that my PSU is limiting my graphic card ?
PS: I have 1 molex connector plugged in the Molex to 6 pins adapter for my graphics card (It requires 2 molex, but the seller told me not to plug 2, cuz it may burn the graphic card)
Im running Far Cry 2 at 1024x768 Everything Ultra High .... Well I have a 8800 GT, lol
Thanks in advance
