Well im wanting to flash bios but im unsure if i shall do older versions first or straight to the latest?

Get the latest BIOS available. In most cases the BIOS update is needed for CPU upgrade.

Each time you "flash" your BIOS, it is not an "upgrade" of the current file, it is a complete new file that replaces the old one.
