Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme
Antec True Power Quatro 1000w Modular Power supply
Coolermaster HAF 932 Case
250 Gb Seagate HDD (Small i know but had to cut costs)
Palit GTX 295
Artic silver 5 Thermal paste\

64 bit Vista Home Premium.

The HDD is way small, HDD's are really cheap and I bet you can find a 500GB or 640GB one. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136073 65 bucks for 500gb. Other than that everything seems in order.

to late i already ordered but i got a 500gb External Network HDD so maybe i can take it out and put it in my system.

i WILL be getting more and larger hdds in the next 6 months but i wanted the GTX295 so i had to cut back some where

Is the External HDD Usb, eSATA, or firewire? If you saved your money you could just get one HDD and save a lot of money, still getting multiple drives puts RAID at a posibility.

it connects through ethernet as it is a network storage device

Another +1 on a different HDD - the WD 640 GB Drives are incredible. Also, I would have gone with an Asus X58 board, but since you already ordered, it's not much use.

Why check after ordering by the way?

Ive got that CPU, RAM, Case, and cooler. Love them all ! Very nice!

Very nice build, but you did miss one piece--the backplate: Thermalright LGA 1366 Bolt-Thru kit.

And for your HDD, don't believe that Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 comes in the 250GB size, but you might want to have a look at this article regarding the recent problems: article link.

Save yourself the headaches and get WD Caviar Blacks instead (1TB or 640GB).
