My windows installer is not working properly

please help me out!!!! my windows installer is not working.

First do a virus scan to make sure it wasn't externally disabled.
Go to Start-Run- type services.msc- choose standard tab - go down to Windows Installer and make sure it is on Manual and Stopped. It will run when needed only.
If it is enabled, go to microsoft.com and type in search windows installer, try to find the standalone download file.

what do you mean windows installer? if you're talking about the cd installer try a good and clean windows installer...
