The dark knight is blocking the first ram slot on my gigabyte ud4p...is there any mod anyone knows to fix this or would I have to get a different cooler?

Just put your ram on the other two slots or put your cpu fans facing the top of the case.

Turn the cooler 90°?

I figured the most likely reason it was blocking his RAM is because he DID have the fan facing the top of the case. The Dark Knight is improperly designed, with its heat pipes spread too far apart at the bottom, and Tom's Hardware has already faced installation issues with it in the System Builder Marathon $1300 PC.

In the SBM, the heatpipes hit the Northbridge sink when the fan faced the rear of the case. It might have blocked RAM slots if mounted facing upward, but the Core i7 motherboard used only has RAM in the 2nd, 4th, and 6th slots.
