Is this SSD a good choice?

I've been looking at this G.SKILL Phoenix Pro Series FM-25S2S-60GBP2 2.5" 60GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) Up to 50,000 IOPS w/ 4KB random write.
Would that be good as a boot/app drive? And also how would it hold up against something like the Intel X25-M?
