Window XP UPS virus infection

Hello,
UPS trojan removed but desktop icons still hidden. Did we miss something and what can we do? ALM

Right-click the desktop
Select "arrange Icons by"
down near bottom, choose "Show Desktop Icons"

If Tigsounds suggestion doesn't work, press ctrl+alt+delete, and open the task manager. Go to File-->new task-->type explorer.exe and press enter.
