How can i work my media player

Hello,I upload my OWN compositions to my computer and then play them via my windows media player. I had other commercial programs installed in my puter which were 'competing' with the efficiency of my media player. i removed the other programs and the media player seems to work ok, except the playback quality sounds like my recordings have been recorded in a toilet - which they haven't. how do i change the playback quality so they sound 'normal'?

Hi. It sounds like you deleted some codecs with the other software. Download and install k-lite codec pack from here and all should be well http://download.cnet.com/K-Lite-Mega-Codec-Pack/3000-13632_4-10794603.html
