Windows Vista to Windows 8 with hardware upgrade

Hello,
I am currently running Windows Vista.
Bought a Windows 8 upgrade. With this upgrade I would also like to upgrade the hardware incl. board, hard drive.
In what sequence should this be done?

Thanks,

SH

More about windows vista windows hardware upgrade
  1. it will be okay as long as you dont change motherboard :)
  2. if you are going to upgrade the board then install from scratch on the new hardware. as an upgrade edition it might ask to 'see' the old edition, either as a disk or the old key.
  3. if you are going to upgrade the board then install from scratch on the new hardware. as an upgrade edition it might ask to 'see' the old edition, either as a disk or the old key.
  4. If you use the costem install it will work, and if the drivers are available at the manufactures website
