Hard Disk Message On Bootup

I get a weird message on bootup that says adapter 1 : no hard disk detected!
Whats weird about it is the fact I do have a hard disk that my computer boots fine off of. I figured it may have to do with something in bios trying to boot off a particular slot, but I've disabled everything that I don't need. Any clue to how to turn the message off? Its an asus maximus II formula board with a wd blue 500gb hard drive that Im using.

I think the message is coming from your onboard IDE controller. Can you disable that in the BIOS?

I looked all over for something along the lines of that but I'll take another glance at it in a few hours and repost

Turns out it was the eSata/IDE boot ROM option in bios. Imagine that!
