I have an HD2600XT with 512MB of GDDR3, and I'm about to get a new motherboard with a 790GX/SB750 chipset, onboard HD3300, and supports hybrid crossfire. Can I use hybrid crossfire to utilize both the HD2600XT and the HD3300? Would this even make sense to do? Would it help my graphics?

I thought Hybrid CF was so that when you weren't doing graphic card demanding app's that it would switch over to the integrated graphics so you didn't waste energy.

For 780 chipset, AMD recommends these cards. So i think better get some better GPU.

It would be o.k with HD2600XT (XT indicates powerful cards in that series).
