I have a windows xp, system Type: Dell-Dimension C521. I just got this blue screen that showed up. I think atapi might have to do with my CD drive but not sure. Any help?

press the power button of your computer and press F2. In the CMOS settings go to Drives and select SATA Operation and click on the right pane the ATA option. save the setting and try to boot the computer.

Joemel,
I did what you suggested... however, after powering up and pressing f2 I didn't see CMOS settings anywhere. So I went to Drivers and expanded and there I saw SATA 0 and SATA 1 with the option to save to ATA option so I clicked on SATA O and clicked on the right pane saving. After rebooting, my desk top appeared and everything seemed to be working and after 3 minutes, the blue screen came back. In my original message under DESCRIPTION, atapi.sys showed up. I don't even know what atapi is. Any other thoughts?
