This case is advertised as having 18 bays. 10 - 5.25" External Bays
1 - 3.5" External Bay
7 - 3.5" Internal Bays
Now the 10 5.25" external ones are a no brainer but the others I have not figured out yet. Their documentation is lousy at best. I need to know how to configure this case so I have at least 14 bays. I'm not a complete dummy but I'm stumped with this case and their advertising. If anyone can help me figure out how to arrange everything to get at least that many bays, I sure will appreciate it.

what type of bays???? If you want 5.25" you're out of luck. If you want 3.5" I can help. If you want 2.5" I can still help.

I only need one 5.25" bay for a CD-Rom or DVD-Rom. The rest are for hard drives and a floppy drive.
Thanks.

Well, I guess I figured it out. It has 10 bays that are configurable 18 different ways. That's not the way it was advertised. What a RIPOFF!!!

Hey mamw93. Where can I find some of these 1 or 3-bay trays for the m923? I need at least 2 as well as the black side clips for 3.5" HDD's. Do you know where I can get some?

I contacted Ultra and asked their tech support. They said they don't sell them. They only give them away if they were missing from the box or damaged when purchased. So... basically I bought a case that contains room for a supposed total of 16 drives (5.5 and 3.5" combined which really only totals 12) but can really only hold a total of 8. What am I supposed to do with the remaining 4 spaces? And what do I do with my remaining drives?

Are these trays universal? Can I buy some other kind and put them in?

Kindly, cbeausoleil.
