I need a replacement mobo for an ASUS A7V8X (rev 1).
Will the following mobo work as a replacement?
PC CHIPS M848A Socket A/SiS746 FX/FSB400/AGP/A&L/ATX Motherboard

Looks like it should but thought it best to verify before I do anything rash. Or would you suggest other mobo?
the a7v8x has 1 leaking capacitor & 2 bulging. It's a friend's puter & I'm trying to get him out as cheap as possible for now... it's still a fast running little machine (has athlon 2000+ palamino & 1gb ddr)
