4890 later or 4870 now

Will the upcoming 4890 be worth the extra $60-80 or will it be better to get a 4870 1G and get a second 4870 when the 4870 prices drop later.

I am real close to droppin the hammer on a 4870 1G. Should i wait for thes 4890?

I think the 4870 is an excellent card, and these are just rumors. I guess the question is, does your current setup run everything you play now good enough that you can wait a couple months, or is it really hurting? I don't think that you can go wrong buying a 4870 now even if these rumors are 100% true. I mean, even if these new cards are 20% faster (less if you OC the 4870) you will have gotten to enjoy your 4870(s) for three months before these come out, if they ever do.

buy 4870 now... if u can wait... then buy 4870 later... bcos if u wait for new 4890 the price will be very high, any new graphic card no have any OC version and is a DEMO version. no have a really good review too...

buy a 4870 same like me... is nice and OC version and cooling system is good....
