I'm trying to install a new graphics card onto a new Dell desktop computer in order to run multiple displays. The computer was purchased with integrated graphics and therefore only has 1 VGA out. I installed the new graphics card, rebooted and now am receiving a "disc error occurred press ctrl + alt + del".
I changed boot priority to HD first and PCI Express, installed the new driver, ensured everything was seated correctly and still no result.
Graphics Card = e-GeForce 7100 GS PCI Express.
PSU = 300w
I'm not sure of the MoBo yet, but the system is the Vostro 220 (I haven't updated the BIOS.)
Disc read error means either the hdd data cables are loose or there is insufficient power. Try booting with onboard gfx only, if it does, means you need a more powerful psu.
