Hi.
Im a keen gamer (wow) and ive got an XPS running a Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS (640MB).

I do have on the shelf a Gigabyte 9500GT (1G GDDR2). Do i put it in or stick with the 8800GTS?

I'll keep it simple...

Stick with the 8800gts.

Throw away your 9500GT and you'll have better results with the 8800 GTS.

The 9500GT is the 8600GT with a new name/number. Stick with the 8800GTS. The extra (slower) memory isn't going to help.

"I detect a pattern here Watson." Said Holmes with obvious glee.
"They are all talking total and utter sense!" he announced and leant back in the padded leather chair he was sitting in and took a long draw on his pipe.

If you have another slot to put in.. then it'll be o.k....
(U could use 9500GT for PhysX processor while 8800GT does other job)
