that time i decided to get a new pc. I tried but it seems that no body is interested in old pc's or they are paying too less to satisfy.
Now problem is still there i need a graphics card can't wait anymore. So i just want to know which graphics card will be best suited for my PC.
configuration is here-
Intel E6300 1.8 Ghz (Can't overclock motherboard does not support).
2 Gb 667 Transcend Ram
Intel 945 GCL original Mobo
Resolution 1280*1024 (But sometime think to upgrade it to 22" with 1920*1080)
Read so many reviews first i thought about 8600GT, then 9600GT, now people say 8800GT will be better,then i checked and found ATI 4830 or 4850 will be best. Thats why i m back as i m not able to take decision.
Well the 9800GT (same as 8800GT)slight overclock has nearly the same performance of the 4830...
And the 4850 is the most powerful of the lot...
If u want to go for the 22" then consder the 4850 else stick wit the 9800GT or the 4830(which ever is cheaper)
9600gt, not a bad card, I have one and it's decent. However, the 8800gt and 9800gt(basically the same card with different names). Will be 15-20% more performance than a 9600gt.
The 4830 is about the same performance as the 9800gt and 8800gt, maybe a little better. But is an AMD/ATI card. The 4850 is the best performer out of the group. If you can snag the 4850, go for that. If not, I would say get either the 4830, or a 9800gt, or 8800gt. Whichever you can get cheapest. Or if you can't afford that, go for the 9600gt.
However, another card you may consider is an ATI 4670. The 4670 is cheap at 80 bucks, gives almost as much performance as the 9600gt, but is good for people who don't have a good power supply. If that is your case, consider the 4670 depending how much gaming you do, as if your power supply is not enough to handle one of the better cards, you would be looking at minimum 25-50 bucks to get a good power supply to handle the other cards.

So breakdown like this again.
From lowest to best.
4670-->9600gt-->9800gt/8800gt-->4830-->4850.
Great awesome man what a way to make someone understand. this clears almost all things, one more thing about my CPU as its 1.8 Ghz E6300 only, so will it be able to harness the power of 4830 or 9800GT, if yes then problem solved i m going for one of them as u said whichever is cheaper, otherwise i have to go with 9600GT. Right?
How much do you want to spend on the video card? If you can upgrade your memory to 4gb than I would recommend the 4870 1gb gddr5 memory. Since the video card can share about 1700mbs almost 1800mbs of your memory. I would recommend the 1 gb version of the video card because You have more ram that is on the video card at a fast speed also, and the video card is also fast. Could not overclock mine because of the motherboard also. My video(hyper-link) runs up to 60c(Very cool temp when gaming on full load)but can get slightly loud because of the fan, but it made my computer come to life, because it got a bit faster. The 4850 is great also , and also the 4830. I depends on how much you want to spend. Anyway I think that the 4850 has the best bang for buck when shopping around(online) You can get it for about $130-$180 off newegg.com or tiger direct.com.
