Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my old HP 8760c so it can play games from 2004 at close to max settings. Here's my stock computer info:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc [...] uct=59299&

Here's what I'm doing to it:

Pentium 3 Tualatin @ 1.4 GHz 133
1.5GB SDRAM 133
BFG GeForce 6600GT 128 MB AGP

Anyway, I don't know which power supply I should pick. I've heard that I need at least a 300w psu and 18A on the +12V rail to power the 6600GT. These are my current choices:

Are these PSUs overkill for computer? Will they even work with my system as it's so old? I appreciate any advice you can give. Thanks!

The Seasonic 350w or the pc power cooling 370w is fine.

There both good relaible brands.

the others are an overkill.

go with the pc power cooling.

Make sure the PSU has a good 5v also - older systems like this will use 5v to power the CPU

If you haven't bought it yet, why don't you just buy a new computer altogether? I've got a P3 800mhz all the way from 2001, but I'd imagine that you've upgraded your memory and graphics... If you buy another computer, you'd have another computer to use :D I'm making my P3 a home server after my mom's done with it for tax season.
