HI,
i am using vista 64 bit with 8 GB ram. so which tv tuner card should i buy which will support in windows media centre. i tried hauppage but it gives error that loss of signal. please assist me some good tv tuner cards (analog or hybrid).
I called avermedia they say avertv volar ax will work flawlessly. but do u know how is the quality

I have a cretty crappy hauppage Nova-T usb stick thing, however, it works brilliantly with windows media center. I never could get the supplyed software to work, but who needs it anyway, WMC is superior.

Also, asuming your useing it to recive a digital signal via an antena of some kind, you need a pretty good signal strength.

i use analog signal, i have seen in forums others have same problem with hauppage. any idea about avermedia which support 64 bit, 8GB ram. have a look at this link

I just installed hauppage 2250 dual-tuner card on my pc. It works well with media center. WinTV also works just fine.

I'm usind the TUNER for digital HDTV viewing. I don't care about analog tv.

I'm using 64bit vista ultimate with 8 G of Ram

Lost of signal can be due to weak signal.... You need to use an amplified Antenna
