am doing an i7core build

i am an audiophile and want HD audio, if i cant find it in a motherboard, i will purchase a seperate sound card, but would prefer to find a motherboard with a good sound output

will be using a EVGA 896-P3-1170-AR GeForce GTX 275 896MB 448-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card, starting out with just one, going to see how it works, might get a second one in the future

OCZ Platinum 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory Model OCZ3P1600LV6GK will be the RAM i use.

also would like to overclock the CPU

Hi C

If you are a true "audiophile" like you said then the ASUS Xonar is the way to go.

I recommend Asus also. IMO, they're the best motherboard company and have the highest quality assurances checks.

I also recommend getting a separate sound card in the form of the ASUS Xonar.

Anyway if you really want something that already comes with good sound you could go with something that has a Creative chip for audio, like

MSI Eclipse Plus LGA
