8800 stopped working

turned on comp this morning and nothing power going to all components but no screen the one long beep and three short beeps took it to local repair and told me card is knackered and no its not overclocked. please help me ...!!!!! is this a common fault with this card surely cards should last more than 18-24 months...?????

They can last 10 years or 10 minutes. Bad luck dude.
