Hey I was planning on getting an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 and I was wondering what the best motherboard would be to go with it. I have a GeForce 8800 video card that I plan on upgrading later on but not right now. Also have 4g of ddr2 ram. I mainly use it for gaming if that helps at all! Any help would be greatly appreciated :) thanks in advance!!

For 2 ram slots, any g31 chipset board will work fine. For 4 slots, a p35 board will be adequate if budget is a concern. Or, you can get an asrock, ecs, or biostar p45 board for around $80-90.

Or for maybe $15 more, an Asus or Gigabyte P45.
