i have just put together my new rig useing a the Gigabyte GA-EX85-UD5, AMD ll X810 and OCZ DDR3 1333 RAM. The CPU and video card (4890) are bothing working well at full performance, but the RAM is maxing out at 588 MHZ. i have installed all the BIOS drivers and tryed to update but as im running vista 64 and the new drivers they provide only work with 32 are no help.

i would go into the BIOS and chage the voltige on the RAM but when i enter in to the MB intelligent tweaker everything just frezers and i have to restart my pc to get out. Hoping someone have gone throug this and has some wisdom or know a solution to this.

More of a curious question than a proposed solution: have you tried using other RAM sticks on your motherboard? Maybe the lockup is caused by incompatibilities between your mobo and RAM.

after hours of searching pages on the net i was able to get a new update for 64 bit, looks to be working fine now, BIOS is no longer locking up and bumped up the volts on the ram
