Just wondering, is there any way to stop software from installing on both of my drives? I installed itunes+quick time and Microsoft Office 2010. I directed itunes to install on my d drive and Office to install on my c drive. Didn't matter, there're on both drives! Can I control this?

Most programs allow you to perform a custom install - that allows you to select/create the drive\folder\subfolder for the install. But your current programs should not have installed programs on two drives. Do you have two installations of Windows, one on each drive?

I have a ssd for Windows and a storage drive. The ssd is 50gb and I don't want anything else on there but Windows; which by itself takes up over 20gb! It's like I have Windows twice on one drive. All the software i've installed, was custom installed and sent to my storage drive. Office 2010 and itunes+quicktime want to be on both drives for some reason.
