I am planning on getting a 9800 GT from EVGA. I was just wondering will it fit in my HP Pavilion case? The case's height is 15 inches.

Also, can the card run with PCI-E x16 1.0?

If you have a suggestion for another card, please tell, but I'm on a tight budget, and I only want a decent graphics card that can run today's games. The card that I am using right now is a 7300 LE.

Don't know if it will fit, should, but not sure. You may check into an ATI 4670 as you say your on a budget. It's an entry level gamer card. Still decent though, but the nice thing is it should not require a power supply upgrade, while the 9800gt might. You should be able to find one for about 80 bucks on newegg.com.
