System restore will not go all way back to factory setting in windows xp

I have a 3 year old lenovo windows xp and am having problems and would like to do a system restore but it will not go back far enough to do a factory setting

Unfortunately Windows will not keep all restore points so you cannot go all the way back.

Do you have the original CD that came with the PC ?
Which Lenovo PC do you have ?

Wha problem are yoyu having ?
Are you sure you want to do a factory setting reset ?
