Windows root system32 ntoskrnl exe

Hey,
i triey to repare my window but it can't work out, saying that "Windows root system32 ntoskrn exe" error. please can anyone help me on how to download this program and how i wll upload it in my computer.

1. Boot into recovery console from Windows XP CD.

2. Rename C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

3. Copy ntoskrnl.exe to C:\WINDOWS\system32 from C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache

4. Reboot

Or press the f8 key when booting and choose the last good known configuration.
