Here's my Antec 1200 build in progress. I need RAM, GPU. RAM should be clearcut - G.Skill 3x1GB PC3 12800. GPU is another story, so far I'm thinking of the GTX 285 if I can scrounge the cash/tax refund. :) Well, it's been fun so far, looking forward to getting a TRUE, overclocking, finishing the cable management, trying out Windows 7 Beta, before my real install.

-View of the inside of the case, note the stock cooler, no RAM, no GPU yet.

-Back panel, I've routed everything here, when the rest of the pieces arrive I'll be able to neaten it up (hopefully).

-For fun, this is what I'm upgrading from. Thermaltake Xaser IV--Athlon FX-53, Radeon X800 Pro, etc.

-I decided to gut the Xaser and put the pieces in my (approx 8 year old) Lian-Li aluminum case, I like the size of it in the new case for a backup PC.

I completely agree, actually when i pull it tight it is about 2mm away from the connector. It just would need another 1.5 inches to make it, 2-3 would be ideal...

I have a 8-pin extender due to arrive tomorrow. For $8 with black sleeving from frozencpu.com it will make me feel $100 better about the final quality of my build.

Here is the power extender, needless to say, it worked. $8.99 for the cable + 3.99 to sleeve/cap it:

I also bought two Scythe Slipstream fans, one for the side door and one for the hard drive cage maybe.

Next, memory, GPU and managing the mess on the backside.
