Password retrieval shortcut keys

There is supposed to be a way to retrieve passwords on your computer by pressing a couple keys on the password box...but I cannot find out which keys these are...plz help

I saw it done once but cant remember the keys...its for like facebook...hotmail and other sites like those. im just worried about what my 15 yr old daughter is doing as she is talking to way older strange men on the net...

unless your browser specifically supports such feature, there's no way to retrieve the passwords without hacking the program.
