What card should I use?

I am building an older gaming type computer that will be used for flight sims, and maybe WoW. Anyway here are my parts:

Intel 955X motherboard
Pentium D 830
2 or 4 GB DDR2 RAM
XP Pro 32 or 64 bit
500W PS
ATI Sapphire X1800GTO

The X1800GTO wasn't all that much of a card when it was new. My question is this: Would cheaper (<$60) cards today from NVIDIA or ATI be any better than this X1800GTO? I don't want to spend more than about $60, as this build is made from parts I already had, and my money is going to other builds. I am sure I can find something used in the higher end for $60, but I'd prefer to get it new. As everyone knows, Circuit City is practically giving stuff away.

Keep the X1800? New HD3450? Any advice is welcome.

This review covers the cards you should be looking at, just bear in mind the 4650 is overclocked, so subtract about 10% from its speeds to even things up.

Newegg has a 9600GT for $60 if you use the rebates and a 4650 for under $40 again if you use the rebates.
