Turning a pc wireless using my laptop

I have internet access on my laptop (wireless) but am trying to get it on my pc with no internet connection. Is there a way to do it without buying an adapter?

You either need to connect via wired or wirelessly.
Whose wireless are you connected to ?

You could try Windows Internet Connection Sharing and connecting the PC to the laptop by ethernet cable but it's flaky and means the laptop has to be on to use the PC.
Wireless adapters are cheap and a btter solution.
