No drive

i tryed to download firmware for my cd/dvd drive and it so drive was found
but in my hardware device manager it says that my drive is there and working properly.

Are you sure it didn't say no compatible drive was found? You may have downloaded firmware for the wrong drive.

Does your drive show up in my computer?
