Is 9500gt compatible ?

Hi I am thinking of buying nvidia 9500GT 1024mb. My mother board is 775dual-vsta. Is it compativle ? will it work ?

Your motherboard does have a PCI-E slot running at x4, so yes, although performance may be limited.

Don't waste your money on the 9500gt. I would look at something along these lines.

A lot better card, should not require a power supply upgrade. As long as you have the PCI express slot you should be fine. But if you are buying a card for games, the 4670 I linked you too should be closer in performance to say a 9600gt. Also, don't worry about the amount of ram on the card as that card is not really powerful enough to use the entire 1 gb of ram. Mainly on ram on a graphics card, you are concerned with more ram as you get to high resolutions, but on the 9500gt, your games probably would not be very playable at higher resolutions anyway, thus negating the effects of the extra ram.

You'd be better off with a better card with less ram than a cheaper card with more ram.
