Pentium Dual Core e5200 Temps

I bought a E5200 for my HTPC. Core temp says that the temperature is 47 degrees Celsius. Is this normal for a pentium dual core. I know my Pentium 4 used to run at around that tempertaure but my Core 2 duo and quad always stay below 40.
