This is something I always wanted to see, but the review is lacking. Should compare it against a stock/normal HD 4670 with GDDR3. And from what I can see, GDDR4 can run a bit faster than 1100Mhz, would've been nice if it were clocked at 1200Mhz or so stock (read: better GDDR4). I can hit 1100Mhz with my GDDR3 version.
But really, who reviews a video card with one thing "new" and doesn't include the stock version?
Not bad pricing as the cheapest 9600gt I could see was only 3 quid cheaper and lacked any overclocking. Still not a smart move unless it's a stop gap upgrade being supported by a quad core upgrade or such. The sweetspot for price and endurance is around £150-200.
yes thats true, but I'm sure happy to see a card that doesn't require extra power plugged into it to do as well as a card that needs a 6 pin (well almost as well)
